The Dougster Desk
$350.00 / Sold Out
While on radical sabbatical in Central Oregon back in 2012 I needed a desk in my apartment so I could finish writing a book I’ve been working on for over nine years (yeah... it'll probably never get written at this point). So I didn't really make progress on the book but I did manage to cobble together a grip of oddly functional work desks using a stack of aged Douglas fir planks, which were given to me by a snowboard bum who lived on a farm. With The Dougster a fusion of salvaged wood and junked elementary school desks never looked so rad.
36W x 30H x 18T inches // size of salvaged desks varies somewhat so these dimensions are a rough approximation.
Construction materials: Douglas fir salvaged in Central Oregon or driftwood sourced from Greater Boston Harbor, resin, wood glue, stainable wood filler, and repurposed elementary school desks.
$350.00 (not including shipping/ taxes)
